CARRIE'S COOKBOOK - Trish's Fried Rice

TRISH'S FRIED RICE

2c water
1T sugar
1t garlic, crushed
2 oxo packets or cubes
1/4c soya sauce + 2-3T (to taste)
2-1/4c minute rice
2-4T butter or margarine
small handful of chopped green onions

Boil in pot on high heat, water, sugar, garlic, oxo packets or cubes and 1/4c soya sauce. Remove from heat and add rice; let stand five minutes. In large frying pan or wok, melt butter. Add rice, green onions and 2-3T soya sauce. Stir fry until warm and steaming.
