Butterscotch Bars

BUTTERSCOTCH BARS

1 (12oz) pkg butterscotch morsels
1/3c butter
2c graham cracker crumbs
1c finely chopped walnuts
1 (8oz) pkg cream cheese
1 (14oz) can sweetened condensed milk
1 egg
1t vanilla

Preheat oven to 350F. Grease a 13x9" baking dish; set aside. In medium saucepan, melt morsels and butter over low heat, stirring often. Stir in crumbs and nuts. Press half of mixture firmly onto bottom of prepared pan. In large mixer bowl, with electric mixer on medium speed, beat cream cheese until fluffy. Beat in sweetened condensed milk, egg, and vanilla until smooth. Pour over crumb mixture on top. Bake 25-30 minutes or until toothpick inserted in centre comes out clean. Cool completely on wire rack.
